Reflections past and future

Going over my Facebook business page today and looking back over the photos I've taken the last year or so. It's crazy how much I have learned. Going from shooting in auto to shooting in manual and learning how to come out of my shell and talk to people during photo shoots. I've learned so much about myself and about the people I have done photo-shoots for. I am looking forward to the future and continuing my business and meeting new people down here in Georgia. The area is gorgeous and there are so many opportunities for pictures. Every time we are out driving, I see different spots and I analyze it for future photo shoots. I am excited for this adventure in Georgia and to continue my goal and passion of creating reflections of others and capturing memories that will last a lifetime.

Welcome back, Everyone! I recently had a spectacular session with the Frank family. I've said it before and I'll say it again – I truly have the best clients ever! This family was no exception, either. They were fun, easy going and very photogenic. Although the kids didn’t want their photos taken, they eventually warmed up and we got some great candid photos. The weather was amazing but a little chilly. Apparently, mother nature finally got the memo that its fall here in Georgia. The skies were overcast which made for some amazing lighting. This was my first session really focusing on candid/lifestyle type shoots.  An angel in the book of life wrote down my baby’s birth. Then whispered as she closed the book, “too beautiful for earth”. – Unknown My goal of this documentary is to help spread awareness of the 1 in 4 women/families who suffer a infant loss. No matter what part of pregnancy whether early on, late term or at the very end of the pregnancy a loss is still a loss and it is in no way anyone's fault. Power of incentives at your photo session

Is it okay to give your child and incentive during a session? Picture day can be a very, very stressful time if you have children. Finding the right outfit and a date that everyone is available on already causes you a headache. Once you have that down, though, everything is smooth sailing. You have prepared everything to be perfect, and then your worst nightmare happens – your child won’t cooperate. Even after you’ve coached him or her for the past two weeks and the entire car ride leading up to the session, your kiddo still just isn’t having it.
