Pregnancy is a special time in a woman's life where she goes through the changes physically, mentally and emotionally to prepare for the little one growing inside of her. Most mom's experience a sense of pride and joy in their upcoming bundle and can't wait to meet them. My latest client was no exception to this rule.

She had the Pregnancy glow down to a T and her husband was beaming with pride at the idea and excitement of their new little one. She is due in Mid November so we had to get her in for a quick maternity session before little baby L made his entrance.

We choose the pumpkin patch because it was a fun theme with Halloween coming up. The dad got a kick out of comparing belly to pumpkin and they had a wonderful time just relaxing and having fun sharing their excitement of their love for each other and their little one. The love for each other and this little baby was what I was hoping to capture in this session. Here is a sneak peak from their session. Family session after baby will be in the next few month once they are settled in to a life as a family of 3. I can't wait to meet baby L!

Welcome back, Everyone! I recently had a spectacular session with the Frank family. I've said it before and I'll say it again – I truly have the best clients ever! This family was no exception, either. They were fun, easy going and very photogenic. Although the kids didn’t want their photos taken, they eventually warmed up and we got some great candid photos. The weather was amazing but a little chilly. Apparently, mother nature finally got the memo that its fall here in Georgia. The skies were overcast which made for some amazing lighting.  An angel in the book of life wrote down my baby’s birth. Then whispered as she closed the book, “too beautiful for earth”. – Unknown My goal of this documentary is to help spread awareness of the 1 in 4 women/families who suffer a infant loss. Power of incentives at your photo session

Is it okay to give your child and incentive during a session? Picture day can be a very, very stressful time if you have children. Finding the right outfit and a date that everyone is available on already causes you a headache. Once you have that down, though, everything is smooth sailing. You have prepared everything to be perfect, and then your worst nightmare happens – your child won’t cooperate. Even after you’ve coached him or her for the past two weeks and the entire car ride leading up to the session, your kiddo still just isn’t having it.
